Beautiful Country

When people visit for picking up their piglets, pork and such they invariably comment on how we live in such a beautiful place. There are many beautiful places on Earth and I am certainly loving living here, in one of them. Fresh air, clean water, greenery, wild life, the bird songs. It is beautiful country and this is a particularly beautiful time of the year as the mountains green up from their winter slumbers.

The scene above shows Sugar Mountain on the far left edging out of the image. Knox mountain is next to the right followed by Butterfield Mountain.

Down in the valley you can just make out the beaver ponds in the marsh they have created.
