Spring 2014 Mystery Photo

Care to guess who our mystery visitor was in this photograph? No, this was not done with my new scanning electron microscope nor is it a network mapping simulation or our aging spy satellite.

Leave ideas in blog comments… Nothing’s too wild and you might be surprised by the answer.

After you’ve left a guess check out the other Mystery Photos of the past and future. The answer is here but don’t peak until you leave a guess. (Hold your cursor over the word ‘here’ back there and read in reverse.)

Either mouse or chipmunk trails underneath the snowpack?

  11. Pam R. says:

Is it some sort of insulation or part of protective stuff for shipping? I think I’ve seen it before and can’t place it.

  12. Fried dough :-) But then I’m carb obsessed :-)

  13. Annie (Mulegirl) says:

Looks like a cantaloupe/muskmelon rind. Boy, now I can’t wait until July-August when we’ll have some of those coming in . . . and I haven’t even been able to plant onions, cabbage, and radishes yet because of our weird snowstorms! :-)

  14. Herdog says:

My guess was going to be tripe but I couldn’t wait and had to look at ‘here’. Now It’s more of a mystery to me. Even bing didn’t know what ‘it’ was. Maybe my computer translated your ‘here’ into some alien language or could it be Pig Latin (sorry couldn’t pass that up).

  15. Dennis Van Swol says:

frozen crystal or yeast on top of whey?

  16. David B says:

My first guess is a cantaloupe, but see that was guessed a lot already. So I’m going to guess frozen/crystallized mud
