New Whey Line

2″ Black Plastic Water Line on Simple Distributor

When we spun out the sap house water line we used a big reel to hold the ton of plastic pipe. That was too heavy and bulky for the tractor to hold like this.

But for this short pull of 150′ of new whey line from the upper tanks Will setup a very simple pair of roller bearings on the tractor forks that let him and Ben pull pipe with ease. It saved moving the big reel and it saved the effort of trying to put the new pipe onto the reel just to unwind it.

The new whey line hangs from an aircraft cable that goes 150′ from the upper whey tanks down to the stump of the tree we cut down last month.

The extra cable hanging on the roll in the tree at the left of the photo we’re saving.

Outdoors: 66°F/50°F Sunny
Tiny Cottage: 66°F/62°F

Daily Spark: All paths lead to the whey.

I had a baby a while back so I am way behind on reading your blog. I noticed that you like comments editing your posts so I thought I would point out that I think real=reel in your first sentence.
