Thunder Cloud Panorama

Thunder Head over Sugar Mountain (Click image for larger view)

We went to visit our neighbor’s over the holiday for fireworks and a potluck dessert. We took cupids.

The neighbor’s house is almost directly north by one mile and situated up on the hill so it looks over our mountain pastures. As we arrived for the festivities a massive thunderhead rose up from the east, facing into the glow of the sunset. Occasional booms of thunder and flashes of lightning lit up the cloud base. A perfect backdrop for celebration of big birthdays.

Thus the photo of the clouds over Sugar Mountain which is a composite panorama of six photos.

The stages of political affiliation:
I am ignorant, disenchanted and I don’t bother voting.
I am cautious so I vote Republican.
I have learned what you have and and want it so I vote Democrat.
I have mine and I don’t want you taking it so I vote Republican.
I have more than I’ll ever need and I want to tell you what to do with yours so I vote Democrat.

To close the circle on the Daily Spark:
I am knowledgeable, disenchanted, and realize that many politicians in both parties share similar distasteful tendencies, I choose not to vote.
