Once the system learns you that should settle down. Also, anyone who had subscribed to posts or the old blog will probably have to subscribe again. That is a bit of a bother. I tried transferring subscribers over but couldn’t get it to work.

Interestingly, my web site on the new cloud server seems to be working fine but now I can’t get to it. This morning I could but now this afternoon I can’t. Other people can see it. It looks like the DNS had propagated but then hiccuped. This should settle down. Keep leaving comments if you are able to see this post as it gives me a sense of how it is doing.

I got to the blog without noticing anything different but I have a question unrelated to blog connecting. We have two gilts that will farrow within the coming week. We are planning for them to farrow in the eight by eight three sided metal sided shed with deep hay bedding. The front/open side is four feet high, the back three feet.
I’m dubious of success as we are in Northern Minnesota and I don’t see it being warm enough for the pigs to survive. Temperatures have been mild all winter and we may have some forty degree days ahead but it could easily be minus seven as it was yesterday overnight or colder.
I hung clear plastic over the front with slits every foot and a half to keep some heat in and wind out. Should the shed be as tight as possible? Ideally we should have more space or another shed for privacy I understand. What do you think? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

When I clicked my saved bookmark it brought me to a directory tree of your files, I had to navigate to the parent directory to get the webpage to resolve correctly.
Thanks for letting me know. I’ve set a redirect on this end. Update your bookmark from http://SugarMtnFarm.com/blog/ to just http://SugarMtnFarm.com and that will then go directly to the new web server location for the blog.
Side note: If you leave your real email address it is helpful incase I need to ask you a question to figure it out.
Word to the wise: You leave bread crumbs on the web whether you leave your name and email address or not. I’ll leave the fields as you chose but Anonymous is not.
Love your blog. Thanks for being so open with sharing your knowledge. It has been a really really really big help for our family as we get our farm going over this past year and a half. We are modeling our farm on how you are doing things in a more natural way and I feel so godo about it. I was raised on a conventional farm. I wanted to farm but I did not want to do it that way. What you do is right. It is good. Glad you were able to move to a new server. If you ever right a book I am buying!
