Adams Farm Slaughterhouse View – Click for the Big View

We are taking a break from deliveries. This is the first week in nineteen months that we haven’t gotten up at 2 am and driven down the three hours to the slaughterhouse to deliver our weekly batch of market pigs before picking up the meat from last week’s pigs and driving her roughly 600 mile delivery route. That long delivery route gets is to stores and restaurants all within 100 miles of our farm.

We jokes that we’re on vacation. And what’s are we doing for her vacations? We’re building a butcher shop. Our big goal is to not have to make that long drive down to Massachusetts in the dark hours of of winter. The people at Adams Farm Slaughterhouse are wonderful but the drive is a killer.
