Hope Ever Upward
But this “ladder” goes up flush to the ceiling and leads nowhere. Rather like a door in a haunted house with nowhere to go. Or a staircase that takes a wrong turn to a flat wall. We joked about putting some of those in…
So, dear reader, why would I be building ladders, if I am, to nowhere and why would the rung heights vary getting progressively larger as you ascend?
If you think it might be something else, other than a ladder for Hope, then perhaps what?
Leave ideas in the comments. It should be finished in the next day or two and I’ll post more.
See the answer here.
Outdoors: 17°F/9°F Sunny, bit windy
Farm House: 30°F/29°F
Tiny Cottage: 64°F/55°F
I would have to say storage, seems like the only answer.
I’ll go with storage spaces too for $5K (this is a game show isnt it?) but I must admit that Hopes idea of a ladder is pretty cool. I dont quite see how the variation in the spacing works. Cant wate to see the finished product!
Love the cup rack!
Caution hope caution!
Cactus thorns I see!
Place to hang pans. Smaller slots are for cups.
I like Hope’s idea as well.
Towel holder. If not, I sure could use one!
A drying rack, for towels or herbs?
My thought is a drying rack. But I fear I am not right as heat rises and having more rungs at the top would be better than at to bottom.
Is it a place to hang sketch pads for the people of various heights in your family?
New though: the face to a cupboard for food storage. Drawers on the bottom and doors on top.
Does it hang across the ceiling to store your skis?
I tink it is a ladder to the ceiling. Mybe there is a secrd trap dor the an excape house hatch. I do thin it is ccol how the whol thin is carved aout o one piec o wood. That is ever so neat jst the sort of thin iepect you to do cuz yor so creative. I see a lot of musical instrments in hyouh home. You all paly a lot>
do your sons haabve blogs? Cte guys.
I see a calendar up on the fridge. a calendar with a dog on it. a dog that looks very familiar. is that one of your dogs? how did you get a calendar made? How mch cost? Love it.
I think that it is a plant ladder for displaying house plants.
I will guess storage too. Looks like a great ladder thogh!
Will printed the calendar on our printer and then had it bound at the local copy store for $1 per calendar. He made Christmas gifts of them.
It looks great! I would guess a drying rack for clothes, mittens, herbs, etc. and blanket storage for summer months. Roxanne
Excellent puzzle!
