Hope Weaving

We are a crafty people, always up to something. On Tuesday Hope bought herself a loom and has been having ever so much fun with it. This is something that she’s had her eye on for a while. Patience paid off. This is something I remember having as a child and really enjoying. Persistence pays off too. She weaving finished a pot holder all by herself on Wednesday. She is ever so proud!

I especially like the colors she’s chosen. I remember making those at day camp as a kid back in my St. Louis days.

I used to have a loom JUST like that! I remember how much fun I had as well! Then I went on to all sorts of other crafty stuff as well. I’m glad to see they’re still around.

Love you site. Our way of living here in Ct.
Your daughter looks like she is having so much fun. I remember when my daughter made her first pot holder. What great memories this brought back.

I have found many ancient items in the dirt on my parents farm too. These range from old bottles to carriage wrenches to horse teeth to skeleton keys.

I would love it if you posted a picture of some of the items you and your pigs have dug up.
