Blue Sky Frost

After the big snow on Friday with its strong winds from the south things calmed down in the evening. When I went out this morning all the trees were frosted. At first I thought it was snow stuck to their twigs but on closer examination it looks like hoar frost crystalized on the vegetation and everything else. It was very beautiful with the blue skies and the early morning sun coming low from the horizon.

Outdoors: 29°F/25°F Sunny, 3″ Snow in early morning, no wind
