Red Blueberry Foliage

I did not shoot this picture today. Nor did I shoot the deputy. This is a patch of low bush wild blueberry bushes in the north field from last week during a brief moment of sunshine. We’ve now had ten days of rain, mind you I am not complaining after the dry summer, but it is starting to drag on. Thirty more days and it will float my boat. Interestingly, despite the dryness of the summer we still got great berry crops. I guess it rained enough plus we’re on the eastern and northern slopes of the mountain where it stays a bit wetter. I actually picked more blueberries the day I took this photo – in October!
