Very Low Airplane

I would estimate that this private looking plane was less than 100′ over our cottage roof. That’s below the legal limit of 500′ per the FAA. Very loud and obnoxious. If it were much lower I would have to add him to my “Found Objects” list.

Water Heater Arrival – Last Equipment!

The last piece of equipment has arrived to open the butcher shop! This is our 80 gallon water heater. It is a tank based heater that works slowly and cheaply. We have a second booster water heater that arrived last week that works fast, noisily and expensively to quickly push the 145°F tank water from this heater up to 185°F for sanitization when necessary for pre-op and post-op cleaning.

I’ve not been very successful with modern commercial grape varieties that I’ve tried here at our home but the wild grapes do well. Well at growing at least. They don’t produce a lot of grapes and what they do offer are quite small and bitter.
