Technically it is spring but we still have deep snows but our potted Verbena is blooming. It survived the winter indoors, which was a big question now resolved.

Outdoors: 45°F/23°F Sunny, 2″ Snow
Tiny Cottage: 65°F/62°F

    My brother is world famous in sustainable business circles and he always sends me the latest hippie this or enviro that, he just sent me an Acres magazine and low and behold the cover story features Walter Jefferies. Have you read the article? Did you think they got your farm practice close to the way you explained it to them?

    • Yes, I just saw it too. The writer did a good job and was fairly accurate. Couple of minor things lost in translation but 99% on target and a good read. For those who are curious it is the April 2015 issue of Acres USA magazine which shows a picture of a pig.
