Blooming Hollyhock

Hollyhocks. I love Hollyhocks. They are easy to grow and prolific.

While you’re figuring, click on the Hollyhock bud and watch it bloom. This requires javascript and is pretty neat.

Outdoors: 78°F/55°F Sunny
Tiny Cottage: 72°F/71°F

Daily Spark: Things are not as black and white as a King might think. Rather the world is filled with shades of color, often beyond his perception and out of his ken.

I love the new expanding pictures. That’s a great way to do images on your blog. A blance between load times and being able to see detail.

I love these expanding photos too! how do you do that?

    • I’m using the Expand Images plugin in WordPress. I made some minor adaptations and set the css style up to fit the pages. There are several that do this and this was the one I liked best. Essentially you put

      <a href="BigImage.jpg" rel="nofollow"><img src="SmallImage.jpg" style="float:right;margin:3px" /></a> Expand Images takes it from there.
