Hope Chest

Hope’s Space

When I designed the cottage I had not planned this but Hope discovered a wonderful out of the way space for her under the library desk [1, 2, 3]. After she had been using for a while we built a shelf under there for her books and she has crates and a chest for toys – her Hope Chest. Her brother Ben has also posted about her.

What a cute picture! Kids sure do like their out-of-the-way places, don’t they? Mine was a built in cabinet with shelves in my bedroom, which was originally a den, that was just too short for adults to comfortably get in, but perfect for me to walk around and play in. Very glad you indulged her.
