Wolfman Love

Wolf at my Bedroom Window
Lili is in heat. I bought her in and as a result Kavi has been hanging out around the cottage, circling, sniffing at the air exchangers making eerie echos up the pipes, peeking in the windows and standing up on the wood pile to sing his howl of love to the wind.

Lili is not impressed. She’s a calendar girl and only has eyes for Cinnamon. Kavi is lower in the pack hierarchy, beneath her notice other than to growl at him when he gets too forward with his advances. He is quite comical in his ardor.

I, on the other hand, would not mind their mating. All of them are such excellent livestock guardian herding dogs. The term is LGD but it needs an H added to it for herding – something the most versatile dogs also are capable of doing.

Thanks so much for the amazing reply to my house post. I’ve really examined your house building posts and wish I had those skills!

The way you tested by building the best dog house in the universe is too funny!

Thank you again. I’ve got much to think of.

Yikes! I can see where you came up for the title for this post! He looks so man like standing outside the window peeping in yet he is so wolf! So beautiful too pining away out there looking for his love! He must be huge!
