Gilded Chicken Cage

Ice on Chicken Wire in Morning Sun

We woke to a frosted world glittering in the sunlight for the second time in a week. We were fortunate in that we did not lose power like so many people. Perhaps the previous two ice storms this fall had cleared out the dead wood. We did lose power then. While Jack Frost can be quite destructive, his artwork is ever so beautiful.

Hey, i have a question. What type of rooster is that on google of yours. The redish one…

    Thanks!

  2. I’m not sure which one you’re referring to. There are several. My guess is you’re thinking of the New Hampshire Red rooster which you can see here. He has been featured on a Japanese TV show as well as some calendars and is hanging in a couple of galleries as paintings. A rather photogenic fellow.
