Moose Bull at Riddle Pond

The other day we saw mice, meese, moosies, mooses??? Spouse, spice, moose, mice to quote Charlie. Well, multiple moose in any case. The above is a video of the bull moose grazing along the side of Riddle Pond which is just over the mountain from our farm.

The quality of the video footage is not all that great because YouTube really kills the image with compression. The original taken at 7:30 pm in the evening with my new Casio Exilim EX-V8 was quite a bit better so don’t hold it against the camera. I also zoomed while shooting and it was hand-held so the footage is a bit shaky.

I find moose tracks around and into our pond, but have yet to see the creature who is leaving the footprints! How special to see your local moose/meese/mooses…
