First Fall Foliage 2006


The mountains are starting to show their fall colors. This particular tree was stressed so it came early and strongly.

    We are getting some early color here in N. Iowa. We had to do a trip to Kansas and when we left it was late summer ,came back to early fall. Temp. dropped bout 10 degrees in 4 days . Brrrrr

    No color change here in west central Missouri, aside from the few drought-stressed trees strewn about the landscape. But it won’t be long.

    Beautiful colors. Autumn is my favorite season and I’m looking forward to the leaves changing color here in D.C. Everything is still very green here, but today I noticed the tops of a few trees just starting to show a hint of color.
