Sugar Mountain Farm Hits Gold
Sometime in the past month my blog hit 1,000,000 visitors. It also passed the three year birthday about the same time. Pretty amazing!

Congratulations on the big number. I’d like to think I helped contribute a bit to it over the years. (And I wish I could have numbers like that at my site.)
Wow! Congratulations! 1 million visitors is really amazing and a great milestone!
Thank you so much for your nice greetings on my blog anniversary!
I just spent my entire Sunday evening reading through your blog. I really admire what you are doing and feel your children will benefit in the future (as well as now). Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations,on 1 million.I’ve been reading for about a year.I have a question.I’m trying to duplicate your chicken tractor. What diameter and length of rebar did you use for your chicken tractor?I know nothing about rebar.Thanks,c.
C, I used ten foot long lengths of 3/8″ which is #3 rebar as that is what I had hanging around from another project. You could also use saplings, conduit, water pipe, PVC piping or other materials. The idea is to get an arc shape. Here are search patterns that will get pictures and discussion of the chicken tractor. At some point I’ll write up how we built it and what we’ve learned since. I’m very pleased with it and it has done well after all these years.
I am very impressed! A million is quite the milestone.
